Honestly, this season was pretty boring. I feel like nothing happened, and it was all set up for things to come. It definitely had some good and intense moments, like one episode that had me bawling. But for the most part, I wasn't invested in what was going on. It was all too slow.

Starring: Sisi Stringer, Daniela Nieves, Kieron Moore

Who would I recommend this to?
No one.

What is this about?
A secret vampire world under attack by evil vampires.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Never.

Where does it take place?
I was wondering the same thing...

Why did I decide to watch this?
The book series is my absolute favorite.

How did I like this?
It's sooo bad! Like, as an adaption it's horrendous and messy. They took plot points from every book and mixed them with some original content, and it's a mess. Even as its own standalone thing, it's messy, and inconsistent, and I was left with too many questions. And not the type that would be answered in the nonexistent following seasons. Just basic questions about the world and who these people are and where/when this is set and why?!?!?!

But it was entertaining enough that I made it all the way through, so yay?

Have you seen Vampire Academy? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Whenever.

Asdyllon.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It looked really cute.

How did I like this?
It's cute, but not as cute as I was expecting. This definitely leans more toward the fantasy politics side rather than the cute girl petting cute animals side.

After Season 16.

Where does it take place?
The Werk Room and Main Stage.

Why did I decide to watch this?
This is my show.

How did I like this?
This is a fun season! It's low on drama, since everyone is here for charity and not just themselves. But that doesn't mean there aren't twist and turns and entertainment. I think this was a really solid cast with plenty of past favorites! I never had a #1 that I hoped would win, because really everyone was doing great and I adored so many of them!

But can we stop with the talent show?! It's always just self-promotion, so everyone essentially just lip synchs. Except Shannel.

A group of girls go camping.

When would be a good time to watch this?

After the first season and when you just wanna chill.

Where does it take place?
Yamanashi, Japan.

Why did I decide to watch this?

Because I really enjoyed the first season.

How did I like this?
It's not as laid-back as the first season, as the girls get up to more hijinks. It also focuses on all of the girls, so it'll bounce between some girls camping and some girls at work/home in the same episode, which makes things move much faster rather than the slower pace of the first season. However, I've come to really like these girls and it's fun to see what they all get up to.

If not, would you watch it?

I really liked seeing how Yona was able to remain determined without ever becoming cruel, which is what drew her companions to her.

Release Date: February 2, 2009
Genre(s): Reality, Series, LGBTQ+
Production Co.: World of Wonder Productions

Who would I recommend this to?
No one honestly, this season is bad if it's your first in 2024.

What is this about?
Nine drag queens compete to become America's first next drag superstar!

When would be a good time to watch this?
Fifteen years ago, or for science.

Where does it take place?
The werkroom and main stage.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Originally, because I was like WHAT?!?! Now, because I felt like reliving the mania before watching the seasons I missed.

How did I like this?
I remember being super excited and invested when this first aired, but watching it now? It's sooo different from the following seasons. You can really tell that they were just figuring things out as they went along, which is fine. It's definitely a product of its time. Still entertaining, but doesn't quite hold up today.

I enjoyed the book and previous movies.

How did I like this?
It was really good! It didn't feel as long as it is, which is good. And I think they did a great job of taking the gist of the book and condensing it down. I am still confused on the ending, but I generally struggle with open endings because I NEED TO KNOW what actually happened!!!

Fans of drag and reality competitions.

What is this about?
Drag queens compete to be crowned America's next drag superstar!

When would be a good time to watch this?
ASAP.

Where does it take place?
The main stage!

Why did I decide to watch this?
Because it's one of my favorite shows!

How did I like this?
This is another season where I adored sooo many of the queens. There were multiple I would have been happy with winning, although my true #1 did win, so that was exciting!

Even though I did enjoy a lot of the queens and challenge, it can't be a favorite seasons, because there were many little annoyances as well. This kind of felt like a tester season, since they were trying several different twists and changes. Probably to see what they want to use in the future. But it made the season feel a little messy. I also could not stand how long they kept Maya around! She was in the bottom too many times and I don't think she was quite ready to be on the show in the first place.

Production Co.: Walt Disney Animation Studios
Director(s): Chris Buck, Fawn Veerasunthorn
Starring: Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk

Who would I recommend this to?
Whoever.

What is this about?
A king holds onto wishes and a girl wants to take them back.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever you run out of other Disney movies.

Where does it take place?
Rosas.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It's Disney.

How did I like this?
It's fine. Mostly, it just has no direction. Like, it has no idea what it wants to be. For example, the double animation style. I love them both, but not together. It made it hard to know where to look, and at times kind of gave me motion sickness. Then there's this awesome ballad, but why is sung between the king and Asha?!?!? Asha thinks everyone should be able to have the chance to see their wish fulfilled, but the king points out that some wishes could wind up badly, but this dichotomy is never explored. There's a lot of little things like that, which are great, but don't fit.

Where does it take place?
In a fantasy world, centered around the Ale & Eats tavern.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded really fun, and I do enjoy monster girls.

How did I like this?
This is so ridiculous, in the best way! There's such a variety of girls that these guys have sex with, and the situations they get themselves into are quite entertaining. This is not Hentai, but it does get pretty close, with cleverly covered bits and...replacements. But there is no shortage of boobs!

How did I like this?
This was ridiculously adorable visually. I need more cutesy claymation in my life! The stories are quite basic, but cute. I was surprised by how many of them were just about all of the ways to make these characters mad!

When would be a good time to watch this?

While babysitting?

Where does it take place?
Japan, somewhere.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded kind of cute.

How did I like this?
I didn't really. A few episodes caught my attention and made me feel things, but for the most part I was either bored or severely annoyed. One of my least favorite tropes is someone determined to help but just makes things worse and can't seem to grasp that it's NOT the thought that counts, which is sadly Sugar's entire personality.

How did I like this?
I didn't like it at first, because Fena is an annoying shouty heroine for comedic effect, even though she just had her virginity auctioned off?!!? The tone was all wrong. I did settle in once I got past the first few episodes. However, it's not that exciting or interesting.

Hokkaido, Japan.

Why did I decide to watch this?

It had good ratings and I like time travel.

How did I like this?
I was immediately hooked! I was rooting for Satoru to fix the past, but I also desperately wanted to know who was really behind all of this. I had my suspicions, which felt obvious, but I didn't really get the ending.

Why was he doing this? He just came across as a stereotypical villain with the whole "I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you pesky kid!"

No one, really.

What is this about?
Girls who are mean.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Never.

Where does it take place?
North Shore High School.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Morbid curiosity, since the original movie is a masterpiece.

How did I like this?
I mean...it's not good, but it's not terrible. It's mainly the acting that is bad. Like I did not believe most of this characters. A lot of the songs are good, and the singing was good. But...did we need this remake? It's missing the charm of the original. This just felt like they were trying too hard to make it relevant to the recent generation, and they just fell flat.

Who would I recommend this to?
Slice of life anime fans, I guess.

When would be a good time to watch this?

Whenever.

Where does it take place?
Gatagata Girl's High School in future Japan.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded cute.

How did I like this?
It's pretty cute, but didn't fully hold my attention. I didn't particularly care for any of the girls. They're not bad or annoying, they're just not very interesting. We also don't really see much of this supposedly high tech future which is the whole basis of starting a DIY club.
