Who would I recommend this to?
Fans of the first season and GoT.

What is this about?
A battle for the crown. With dragons.

When would be a good time to watch this?
After the first season, or in two years, so it's fresh for season 3.

Where does it take place?
Westeros.

Why did I decide to watch this?
I liked the first season.

How did I like this?
Honestly, this season was pretty boring. I feel like nothing happened, and it was all set up for things to come. It definitely had some good and intense moments, like one episode that had me bawling. But for the most part, I wasn't invested in what was going on. It was all too slow.

Have you seen House of the Dragon? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Fluffy Paradise (2024)

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
Asdyllon.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It looked really cute.

How did I like this?
It's cute, but not as cute as I was expecting. This definitely leans more toward the fantasy politics side rather than the cute girl petting cute animals side.

Have you seen Fluffy Paradise? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Yona of the Dawn (2014-15)

A young princess must learn to fight to take back her kingdom.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
The Kingdom of Kouka.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded good.

How did I like this?
It did get off to a bit of a rough start with Yona being a shouty heroine, and in fact, lots of characters were quite shouty. But it tones down as the story moves along and gets more serious. I really liked seeing how Yona was able to remain determined without ever becoming cruel, which is what drew her companions to her.

Have you seen Yona of the Dawn? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Why did I decide to watch this?
A friend posted about it and I thought it looked cute!

How did I like this?
This was sooo delightfully '80s! It was definitely cheesy, but it was fun. And a nice way to pass some time. It's definitely something I would have watched as a kid and then thought I dreamed up.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Fifteen years ago, or for science.

Where does it take place?
The werkroom and main stage.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Originally, because I was like WHAT?!?! Now, because I felt like reliving the mania before watching the seasons I missed.

How did I like this?
I remember being super excited and invested when this first aired, but watching it now? It's sooo different from the following seasons. You can really tell that they were just figuring things out as they went along, which is fine. It's definitely a product of its time. Still entertaining, but doesn't quite hold up today.

The misadventures of Hello Kitty and Friends.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Soon.

Where does it take place?
Stump Village.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It's Hello Kitty claymation.

How did I like this?
This was ridiculously adorable visually. I need more cutesy claymation in my life! The stories are quite basic, but cute. I was surprised by how many of them were just about all of the ways to make these characters mad!

Have you seen Stump Village? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Whenever.

Where does it take place?
The oceans around Europe.

Why did I decide to watch this?
I like pirates.

How did I like this?
I didn't like it at first, because Fena is an annoying shouty heroine for comedic effect, even though she just had her virginity auctioned off?!!? The tone was all wrong. I did settle in once I got past the first few episodes. However, it's not that exciting or interesting.

Have you seen Fena: Pirate Princess? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
Gatagata Girl's High School in future Japan.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded cute.

How did I like this?
It's pretty cute, but didn't fully hold my attention. I didn't particularly care for any of the girls. They're not bad or annoying, they're just not very interesting. We also don't really see much of this supposedly high tech future which is the whole basis of starting a DIY club.

Have you seen Do It Yourself? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded super cute. I like space.

How did I like this?
It's very cute! I can't help but compare it to Stardust Telepath as they have extremely similar setups, but these girls aren't as compelling. I still enjoyed it though.

Have you seen Asteroid in Love? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Fans of the first season.

What is this about?
An overpowered bear girl goes on adventures to help people.

When would be a good time to watch this?
After the first season.

Where does it take place?
Crimonia.

Why did I decide to watch this?
I liked the first season well enough.

How did I like this?
I definitely liked the bigger focus on action adventures over simple good deeds better. It's still not a favorite show, but it's very cute and fun.

Have you seen Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch!? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

A teenage girl gets trapped in her favorite VR game dressed as a cute bear.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever you feel like something short and cute that doesn't require much brain power.

Where does it take place?
Crimonia.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It sounded cute.

How did I like this?
It's cute, but didn't really draw me in like I expected. I was kind of distracted by the fifteen-year-old sounding much older. And I wasn't interested in most of the plots; they were mostly just Yuna nicely helping people. I needed more cute bear adventure.

Have you seen Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Brother Bear (2003)

A young man leads with hate and is transformed into a bear to learn to love.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
Alaska or Canada, I think.

Why did I decide to watch this?
I had never seen it and am trying to watch all Disney animated films.

How did I like this?
It's actually good. I can see why it wasn't too popular, but it's a solid adventure. Yes, I cried.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
Bauer Kingdom Royal Academy.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It's gay.

How did I like this?
I hated the first two episodes. I found Rae's over-the-top affections annoying rather than charming or humorous. However, the third and fourth episodes hooked me with more emotional plot threads. I'm generally not a fan of over-the-top humor or repetitive jokes, which are both used a lot in this series. But then the tender moments pull me back in.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It looked cute.

How did I like this?
It was cute, but didn't fully hold my attention. There didn't seem to be a focus, just Keina going from situation to situation, showing off her awesome powers.

Have you seen In the Land of Leadale? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Why did I decide to watch this?
It was Christmas Eve and I hadn't seen it in years.

How did I like this?
It's fine. I know I watched it as a kid, but I don't have many memories of it. It's a cute short, but it doesn't really stand out to me like the other Christmas specials from this time.

Have you seen Frosty the Snowman? What did you think?

Good Burger 2 (2023)

Title: Good Burger 2
Rating: TV-PG

Revenge with a side of burger sauce. And the friends we made along the way.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Anytime you need something goofy.

Where does it take place?
Los Angeles.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Because the first movie is a classic.

How did I like this?
It certainly has the spirit of the original! Gang's all here! And the plot feels very reminiscent of the first, not a direct copy, but it feels real for these characters.

I do have to say, I feel like they were trying too hard with some of the jokes, but that seems to be common across most adult reboots of kids' stuff.

Have you seen Good Burger 2? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)

Title: Five Nights at Freddy's

What is this about?
A down-on-his-luck guys starts working as a security guard for a haunted pizzeria.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Now, spooky season, any time you want some fun.

Where does it take place?
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Because I fell into the FNaF rabbit hole and can't get out.

How did I like this?
It's so fun! It's more focused on the human, emotional side than the horror side, which suited me fine. I'm a baby when it comes to Horror, so I'm glad this was more tame. Yes, there are jumpscares, but anyone familiar with the games will be expecting that.

Have you seen Five Nights at Freddy's? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Where does it take place?
Element City.

Why did I decide to watch this?
It's Disney.

How did I like this?
They tried to tell a story about the struggle of immigrants and discrimination, much like they did with Zootopia, but it didn't totally work. This was more like another Inside Out, but if Anger and Sadness started dating. I didn't get it at all.

It was still pretty cute though.

Have you seen Elemental? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?

Ecological collapse thanks to someone capturing the legendary Pokémon.

When would be a good time to watch this?
Whenever.

Where does it take place?
The Oranges Islands.

Why did I decide to watch this?
I'm binging Pokemon for the first time.

How did I like this?
This one didn't hold my attention as well as the first movie. The story was fun and exciting, but didn't have that intensity. Also, the animation style was really distracting. It mostly looked like the anime, but with hyper-realistic objects thrown in, which looked off. But it was the '90s...

Have you seen Pokémon the Movie 2000? What did you think?
If not, would you watch it?
