"I don't expect you to understand. No one in the world could understand." I mean, I certainly do not understand anything going on in this movie. I didn't hate it, I just was confused the entire time. It felt like it was trying too hard to out due the original series.

How did I like this?
I was not prepared for this. I knew it was tagged as Psychological, but I wasn't sure what that meant. Well, now I know. While I love the idea of putting cute magical girls into these dark, trippy landscapes, it felt more gimmicky than an integral part of the story at first. But as things moved along, all this darkness really starts to affect these girls in real ways.

I absolutely adored this from the very beginning! It's essentially exactly like a farming game, so I was very familiar with the progression. However, the mid point does introduce a pretty entertaining plot. I wasn't sure about that at first, but it fit and kept me invested.

I hated the first two episodes. I found Rae's over-the-top affections annoying rather than charming or humorous. However, the third and fourth episodes hooked me with more emotional plot threads. I'm generally not a fan of over-the-top humor or repetitive jokes, which are both used a lot in this series. But then the tender moments pull me back in.
