Who would I recommend this to?
Those who enjoy RomComs with a dash of Christmas.

A writer believes she's found the one but realizes she's been catfished, yet still agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend for the holidays.

When would be a good time to watch this?
The holiday season.

Where does it take place?
New York and Los Angeles.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Nina Dobrev and catfishing.

How did I like this?
First, fake dating is my favorite romance novel trope, so I'm so here for it in film form! I also just thought it was genuinely funny and adorable, crush on Nina Dobrev not withstanding. Yes, it's 100% formulaic and predictable, but it's a formula like works for me.

Why did I decide to watch this?

It was part of my holiday movie marathon, and I like Emma Roberts.

How did I like this?
It was fun and funny. If this was a Romance novel, I'd have been all over it. I appreciate that for once they two mains don't fall in love within a week as the movie covers them hanging out for an entire year.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)

Title: The Babysitter: Killer Queen
Rating: TV-MA
Run Time: 1 hour 41 minutes
Release Date: September 10, 2020
Genre(s): Horror
Production Co.: Wonderland Sound and Vision
Director: McG
Starring: Judah Lewis, Samara Weaving, Jenna Ortega

Who would I recommend this to?
Fans of the first one, and people who like quirky Horror with heart.

What is this about?
Cole is still a loser, but now he's two years older and everyone thinks he made up the craziness of that night. Until it starts happening again...

When would be a good time to watch this?
After the first one. Make it a double feature.

Where does it take place?
Same place as the first one, so probably California.

Why did I decide to watch this?
Because the first one was fun and Halloween.

How did I like this?
First, the writers tried way too hard with the jokes and gags. The first one wasn't really that funny, but it was fun. They were clearly trying to one-up it. I liked this one better overall though. It had more range, since they weren't just confined to the house. Plus, plot twist!

The old crew was hilarious though. Being dead was good for them. Poor, Cole. He can't catch a break.
